- Jul 24, 2014 Homebrew needs to be transferred. Sometimes we can get away with pouring wort or beer manually, but for the most part the best way to move liquid around is with a hose or tube. When you get into homebrewing you’ll become intimately familiar with tubing. Sometimes you bless it for saving your aching back the trouble of lifting 5 gallons of liquid.
- I’m using the term “Homebrew apps” to refer to apps that are installed through Homebrew. Homebrew is what’s known as a package manager. All this means is that you can install packages (i.e., apps) using Homebrew. Think of it as the App Store but for your Mac’s terminal. The majority of Homebrew apps are completely free and safe.
