Zuby Twitter

Oxford graduate and rapper Zuby went viral when he posted a video of himself breaking the women's deadlift record on Twitter.

  • Rapper Zuby was suspended by Twitter for tweeting “Ok dude” at a transgender woman who calls herself the ‘Pronoun Enforcer’ and the temporary ban was celebrated by the left-wing activist. “I’ve been temporarily locked out of Twitter for tweeting ‘OK dude’ in response to someone,” Zuby posted on his Instagram page.

He claimed to identify as a woman while doing it - a statement that put him right in the centre of the debate over trans people taking part in women's sport.

Here, he explains why he posted that video - and why he doesn't care if people don't think he is not 'woke' enough.

I posted a video of me doing a 233kg deadlift on Twitter.

The caption was 'I keep hearing about how biological men don't have any physical strength advantage over women in 2019. So watch me destroy the British women's deadlift record without trying.'

And then I wrote, 'P.S. I identified as a woman whilst lifting the weight. Don't be a bigot.'

And the video went crazy.

More from UK

It has got around 1.7m views. It was covered by lots of national news, lots of international news. It went a lot further than I ever imagined or predicted when I tweeted it from my phone.

I think the video was just making a rather obvious point that lots of other people didn't want to make, which is that biological men and biological women are different.

That shouldn't be a controversial statement in any sort of sane world - it is something we're all implicitly and explicitly aware of.

Everyone knows that the reason sports are sex segregated to begin with is because males are stronger and faster than females are, on average, especially once you get to an elite level - there's a very large performance difference.

I don't think trans women should be allowed to compete in women's sport.

And I think that anyone who is aware of biology, and isn't driven by ideological and emotional factors, would agree with that.

If Anthony Joshua, in boxing, transitioned to a woman and next year was boxing against biological women, I think you'd have to be either stupid or ideologically possessed to think that that would be remotely fair.

I think that is something people know, but because of the current climate, a lot of people are afraid to say that because they fear the mob.

Some people are so woke that they're asleep.

On Wednesday night, Twitter suspended British rapper, author, and podcast host Zuby for “misgendering” a far-left transgender activist and data scientist for responding, “ok dude.”

Emily Gorcenski, who is biologically male but identifies as a transgender woman, apparently bragged to Zuby about sleeping with more women than him, the rapper told The Daily Wire.

In response, Zuby replied, “ok, dude.”

That was enough for Zuby to be reported for “hateful conduct” and temporarily suspended from Twitter.

“[Zuby] was suspended for saying ‘Ok dude,’” right-wing politico Robby Starbuck posted Thursday, captioning screenshots of the interaction. “He was replying to a person who told him she sleeps with more women than [Zuby] does.” Drivers musical fidelity others.

“‘Ok dude’ is literally all he said,” Starbuck noted. “In common vernacular ‘dude’ is used to refer to anybody.”

Everyone please demand @Twitter@TwitterSafety#FreeZuby. He was suspended for saying “Ok dude”

Openly celebrating the suspension, Gorcenski posted a screenshot of an update from Twitter. “Your report about @ZubyMusic has been received,” the tech platform said, adding, “After our review, we’ve locked the account for breaking our rules.”

“Lol misogynist down. Pronouns enforced,” Gorcenski cheered, captioning the screenshot.

Last year, Zuby threw a wrench in the “equality” argument regarding male-to-female transgender athletes competing against biological females by “identifying” as female and obliterating the British Women’s deadlift record.

“I keep hearing about how biological men don’t have any physical strength advantage over women in 2019,” he wrote via Twitter. “So watch me DESTROY the British Women’s deadlift record without trying.”

After easily demolishing the deadlift record, Zuby moved on to break the women’s bench press record.

“Just took the UK women’s bench press record too…,” he captioned the video. “For reps. Strong, stunning and brave.”

Zuby Deadlift Twitter

As far as his suspension goes, Zuby told The Daily Wire, “I will be back.”

Gorcenski is a radical far-left activist who, in 2018, Bitch Media included in their “Bitch 50” list, noting that the activist was pepper-sprayed at the “Unite the Right” rally:

Charlottesville resident Emily Gorcenski was horrified when, in the summer of 2017, she learned that white supremacists were planning to overtake her city. And in the course of protesting ultimately tragic Unite the Right rally, she was pepper-sprayed by one of its speakers (who would later serve three months in prison for it). But Gorcenski’s expertise as a data scientist armed her with a powerful weapon against the alt-right: Along with other activists, she createdFirst Vigil, a public database used to track the criminal activity of white nationalists. Journalists can use the database for research on significant court cases, and it’s a crucial tool for anyone seeking a broader look at an increasingly widespread hate movement.

Gorcenski has a host of radical tweets published online, such as openly condoning violence against “nazis” (Note: Folks like The Daily Wire’s own Ben Shapiro has been criticized as a “nazi” for advancing conservative ideology. Shapiro is a constant target of the alt-right and an orthodox Jew.) and this one from 2017: “Aww. As a transgender woman, I am genuinely afraid of Republicans murdering me if I stop for gas in the wrong part of Virginia.”
